- Hi, my name is Amy Wynne, and I'm excited to be offering my figure drawing course on location in my historic mill studio. I studied figure drawing and painting at the New York Academy of Art, where I was trained in a Renaissance approach to anatomy and drawing the figure. I've broken down this intense training into a simple, step by step approach accompanied by clear exercises to practice. You'll be guided through a sequence of basic sketches, building from gestural structure to proportion to volumetric form. Whether you're a beginner or a more experience drawer who just wants to reinvigorate your practice, this course will give you strategies for strengthening your figure drawings, so sharpen your pencils and let's get ready to draw.
