About the CySA+ Exam

- Hi, I'm Mike Chapple, and I'd like to welcome you to our course on preparing for the Cybersecurity Analyst+ exam. The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+, or CySA+, is an intermediate level certification from the creators of the popular entry level Security+ certification for information security professionals. CySA+ is meant to serve as a middle ground between Security+ and CompTIA's Advanced Security Practitioner certification. If you've already earned your Security+ certification and you have around three or four years of experience working in the cybersecurity field, this is a great certification for you to advance your career. This course serves as the introduction to a series of four more courses, each one focused on a core component of the CySA+ curriculum. The first course focuses on topics in the Security Operations domain. The second course covers domain two, Vulnerability Management. From there, we move on to the third domain, Incident Response Management. And then finally, we wrap up with domain four, Reporting and Communication. As you work your way through each of these courses, you'll pick up all of the knowledge you need to earn your CySA+ certification. As a CompTIA Content Delivery Partner, we're ready to help you pass your certification exam on the first try. In this course, I'll provide you with the background knowledge that you need to begin your preparations for the CySA+ exam. We'll cover the value of the CySA+ certification, describe the four domains of the CySA+ curriculum, give you an insider's view of the exam, and help you design your own study strategy. Alright, let's get rolling.
