- [Instructor] Images play a very important role in your website. They add visual interest and impact to your text, and can help give customers a better understanding of the work that your company does or the products or services that you provide. Just like writing content from scratch, I know it can be overwhelming to think about sourcing quality imagery for your site. I'd recommend that you use a combination of your own photography, preferably taken by a professional, and maybe mix in a little bit of stock photography. When it comes to stock photography or basically any imagery that you'd like to use that you didn't create, you always want to make sure that those images are licensed for commercial use. For example, you can't go to Google Images, find a picture you like, and just use it. That can get you into trouble.
