- [Instructor] As we start to work with a set of construction drawings and we begin to add more and more markups to the drawings, the drawings can start to look a little cluttered and I can have a bunch of information on a single page that I might not need to see all at one time. So I've jumped over here to the sample floor plan that we opened in the last video. And again, you can see lots of different markups here. And I may not need to see all of them at once. So for example, I have some lengthen area takeoffs that you see over here. I have some cloud and comment takeoffs that you see here. I have some symbols that are some coordination symbols. And again, as I add more and more of these, my drawing becomes cluttered. One way to take care of that is to organize these markups into layers and turn the layers on and off, depending on what you need to see.
