- Bluebeam Review has had the ability to work with 3D PDFs for a while, but one of the newer features that is unique to the complete subscription tier is the ability to actually create 3D PDFs from two of the more universal 3D building information modeling file formats. I think this is a really interesting feature because it does give you the ability to import a 3D model from the IFC or the U 3D formats. These are considered universal formats for exchanging BIM files. So someone who's creating or managing a model in Revit, for example can easily export that model as an IFC file to distribute to the project team for various uses. When you receive that file you can now use Bluebeam Review to import and convert it to a 3D format you can use as well. To do this, all you need to do is go to the file menu and click on open.
