- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. And what we're going to have a look at today are your AutoCAD options. Now, there's a lot of information in the Options dialog box. But before we start, just make sure you've got a drawing open, so that you can go to your AutoCAD options. You need a drawing open to do it. And I've given you a sample drawing to work with. It's in the library, you can download it. It's called AutoCADoptions.dwg and it's just a simple floor plan with the grids, the dimensions, the walls, doors, and windows, et cetera. And basically, you've then got a drawing open, so that you can work with the options in AutoCAD. The quickest way to get to your options, I always find, is a right-click in the drawing area, go to the shortcut menu, there's the Options option, if you'll pardon the pun.
