- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. We're going to be taking a look at some annotation tools available in the express tools in full AutoCAD, so be aware of that. If you're using AutoCAD LT, you don't get those express tools. Now we've got a drawing for you and it's called 337 Annotation-MASKING.dwg and you can download it from the exercise files as usual to follow along with this particular AutoCAD tip and trick. Now, just before we get started, make sure initially you are on the text layer. Now, there are other layers. You've got a masking layer and a text layer. Just make sure you're on the text layer first. We're then going to jump into the express tools tab on the ribbon in full AutoCAD and we're going to go to the text panel, click on the flyout, and just pin it open because it's these three commands here that we're looking at, these three express tools.
