295 Recovery: Making sure you can recover your drawings when things go wrong

- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. The screen that you can see at the moment is a screen that you probably don't want to see where AutoCAD has gone into drawing recovery mode, and it's brought up the Drawing Recovery Manager tool. Now, normally this little box will pop up telling you about the work session and the program terminating unexpectedly. It can happen with something like a power outage, perhaps your computer crashes, something like that. And you're right in the middle of a drawing and bang, everything's gone. Now, what'll happen is when you restart AutoCAD this is what will kick in. Now you can actually tell AutoCAD not to show this much stage again, that's up to you. I never do that. I just leave it there. But I just click on Close, like so, and you can see it takes me to the recent screen in the Start tab of AutoCAD. There's my recent drawings there. There's my announcements…
