- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick in AutoCAD. In this particular tip and trick, we're going to take a look at how we utilize the TABSURF command when we're 3D-modeling. For that particular reason, we've got a drawing called 269 3D-modeling using TABSURF.dwg. As usual, you know the drill; you download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. When you open up the drawing, make sure you're in the Model tab and you're utilizing the 3D objects layer as your current drafting layer. You'll also notice that I'm in the 3D-modeling workspace. You can set that here on the status bar. 3D modeling is there. Or if you've got it set up on your quick-access toolbar, 3D modeling is just there.
