We are looking for a solid Sales Account Assistant to join our team and focus on supporting the sales team and daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will manage the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with customers and work to provide exceptional customer service. You must have experience in the wholesale business environment – preferred within the apparel / footwear / accessories industries.
JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the sales of a high profit portfolio of accounts
Sales support including meeting preparation, recap, daily communication, order processing and flow to production.
Appointment preparation: Prepare the showroom/samples for Customer appointments following the strategy discussed with the Executive Salesperson / Leadership teams.
Prepare recaps / PDF of all meetings in a timely manner and disseminate them to all stakeholders.
Developments: Put the developments in with the design team and ensure close follow-up
Item Setups - create and manage the item setup process with a solid SOP, and regular maintenance to ensure the latest updates are in place.
Samples: Follow-up on all customer development samples (Photo sample, etc.)
PDFs and customer presentations: Prepare new development PDFs to boost sales
Daily Communications with customers.
SKILLS:
Experience in wholesale – off-price retail is a plus
Knowledge of the Apparel Industry and good knowledge of Excel
Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads and handle the pressure of a fast- paced environment
Great organizational skills
