We work directly with employees throughout the U.S. providing customized benefit communication and administrative services and support to our client’s HR Departments and their individual employees

The Wellness Coordinator operates with our client to provide general administrative services support to the client’s Human Resources department and employees, as well as BCInsourcing’s staff. Responsibilities include employee support and various client-specific administrative duties for the wellness program and initiative.

Location: This position is a Hybrid role that will require at least one day a week onsite (some weeks more) at The University of Kansas Health System. The other days working remotely.

Essential Functions

  • Wellness Support: Develops a detailed understanding and in-depth working knowledge of our client’s employer-sponsored wellness program. Develops, manages, and supports wellness program Initiative by responding to employee and vendor inquiries in a timely manner. Investigates and resolves wellness program-related concerns. Supports the wellness program email inbox and/or contact center, as assigned. Acts as a liaison between the client’s HR department, employees, BCInsourcing, and wellness program vendors.
  • Administrative Service and Support: Completes various administrative duties, KU Medical and BCInsourcing; based on client needs, duties may include (but are not limited to) developing wellness activities and creating wellness-related content for newsletters, web-based outlets and other employee communications. Assists with employee wellness education to encourage participation.
  • Other Support: Serves as back-up to other BCInsourcing team members with appointment scheduling and benefit questions, as requested.
  • Attendance: Regular attendance is required. Hours may fluctuate during open enrollment periods and special projects in order to meet the needs of the client, including extended work hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned


Required Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Demonstrated polished and articulate public speaking/group presentation skills
  • Professional experience demonstrating superior customer service skills while multi-tasking and working under pressure of deadlines
  • Professional experience demonstrating self-motivation and result-driven outcomes with little to no supervision
  • Proven experience following a step-by-step process while using deductive reasoning to produce positive outcomes
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Preferred Education And Experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of wellness programming
  • Working knowledge of benefit insurance products, including core and/or voluntary benefit insurance products

Starting Hourly Range for This Position ranges between $24.03 - $26.44/hr.

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. BCInsourcing takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, licensure, and other job-related reasons as it relates to the position. At our Company, generally an individual would not be hired at the top of the range of the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each posting.
