Warehouse Helper (Channelview, TX) - Austin Industrial (CVO)

Austin Industrial, Inc. - We seek an experienced Warehouse Helper based in Pasadena, Texas.

This position requires a valid Driver's License and a TWIC Card.

Maintenance position working 4x10s plus occasional OT - No Per Diem.

Warehouse Helper

Must help to maintain production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished products for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; and operating machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, and making operator repairs.
• Operator a forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required For This Position

Education: no minimum education requirements.

Certifications/Licenses: Valid Driver's License and TWIC Card

Experience: 1 year of Helper level experience.
