Develop and execute strategic plans for the distribution center in alignment with company goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Proven track record of developing warehousing footprint and strategy.
Ensures an accurate inventory of raw material and finished goods.
Lead warehouse teams in execution of daily operations, including improving efficiency of tasks and management of warehouse resources. Analyze appropriate data to help with best use of all resources.
Ensures optimal effectiveness and production through effective use of inventory software specifically warehouse management, inventory procurement and management.
Ensure warehouse teams are adhering to organizational safety protocols.
Analyzes trends in technology to create efficiencies in warehousing.
Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by working with cross functional teams in multiple projects resulting in measurable cost savings in warehousing management.
Manage relationships, contract and pricing agreements with warehouse providers.
Position Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in 3PL and warehousing, demonstrating a track record of success.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
Education
Experience in implementation of RFP and implementation of WM Systems.
Ability to travel to travel at least 35%.
