The Vice President of Marketing owns corporate marketing, business development, and program management responsibilities. The Vice President of Marketing works in a strategic manner directing corporate branding and developing marketing plans to position the company to achieve corporate revenue growth and new business opportunity goals. The Vice President of Marketing identifies opportunities to increase our corporate exposure in aerospace and other industries.

To be successful in this role you must possess excellent written and communication skills, as well as strong organization and planning skills. You must also have Aerospace industry experience, preferably in Composites.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic annual Marketing Plan, oversee implementation
  • Lead branding efforts and “look” for all marketing related materials
  • Identify new marketing platforms, develop and implement plans
  • Develop and monitor the department budget
  • Lead the content development, writing and publishing of The Doorway, including some technical writing
  • Oversee all aspects of website content
  • Oversee social media calendar implementation
  • Identify needed marketing materials and oversee creation and publication
  • Work with the Sales team to create and implement an annual trade show plan, includes booth design and oversight of show implementations
  • Work with the Sales and Business Departments as necessary to achieve company and corporate goals
  • Oversee company news releases and arrange for appropriate placement in the media
  • Own competitive analysis and conduct market research
  • Guide Director of Business Development in identifying gaps in our product and service offerings that lead to new development of new product and services
  • Lead large-scale proposal efforts as needed to support Sales team
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field required
  • Minimum 10 years related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aerospace industry experience, preferably in Composites.
