Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President Finance will be a strategic and critical role as part of the executive team. The VP Finance will have broad responsibility for leading : financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting, board and management reporting, treasury and potentially other responsibilities(depending on candidates breath of experience). As a key member of the leadership team, the incumbent will be a hands-on, self-starter who brings strong finance and related operational leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct all aspects of financial planning & analysis, including preparation and presentation of annual budget, regular reforecasts, short, multiyear business plans, and various ad hoc plans pertaining to new business opportunities.
Assess and implement appropriate tools for budgeting and forecasting to drive finance transformation
Develop and deliver internal and external reporting packages, including reporting to management, board, investors, lenders, and rating agencies. Provide business/analytical insight to drive improved business performance
Working with executive and operational leadership, develop KPIs that effectively measure performance.
Support M&A in acquisition analysis, including: forecasts, synergy assessments, financing and tax implications related to transactions.
Working with CFO, manage relationships with lenders and rating agencies.
Interact with regional and functional teams to ensure FP&A alignment with stated objectives and goals, providing analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
Analysis of financial performance; weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual operating results; analysis of variances and evaluate their impact on operations
Work closely with investor relations and provide analysis required during earnings cycle
The Qualifications:
Proven track record with 10 years of experience in corporate financial management with increasing scope of leadership and responsibility
Proven ability to manage a corporate financial planning and analysis function
Collaborative style as a thought partner who works productively with the executive team
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
Critical thinking and ability to support strategic transformation activities
Track record of success in job performance
Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal relationships; able to drive alignment.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences
