• Responsible for test planning and execution of RG (Residential Gateways) certification testing for consumer services
• Identify key issues, open defects, work with the vendor for a resolution, validate and resolve the defects once fix is available in a labs-based environment
• Understand and able to configure voice gateways with registrar server and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Able to read and analyze debug VoIP logs and open bugs with vendors
• Provision and configure VoIP lines on RGs (Residential Gateways)
• Thorough understanding of IP based network systems and protocols
• Extensive knowledge of SIP protocol and related network components (Gateways, SBC, Proxy).
• End to End call flow testing of VoIP services which may require coordination with other teams (Domestic and International)
• Developing test scripts and plans; Perl and / or Shell scripting experience is a plus
• Provide Lab environment test support
• Deep understanding and debugging capabilities for SIP, RTP and ,WireShark traces/captures
• Test SIP and RTP call traces and SIP call flow
• Attend project meetings to review system and test requirements
• Responsible for Tier 4 problem and troubleshooting/diagnosis and resolution
• Provide production and escalation support to Operations and Service teams
