Each summer the company hosts teachers for a writing camp to develop content and curriculums, field test lessons and assessment items, and review and edit all materials to ensure factual accuracy, so curriculums are current and practical for implementation in any type of classroom.

Position Summary
Accelerate Learning is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, Vice President of Sales to maximize the performance and efficiency of the sales team and drive revenue growth for the company. This person will be responsible for leading and overseeing the field and inside sales teams who are tasked with building relationships with key decision-makers and selling our suite of K-12 STEM products to schools and districts nationwide. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the K-12 landscape and will help inform and execute our overall go-to-market strategy.
Position Responsibilities
Hire, develop and train a high-performing team of Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives; lead and motivate the team to perform beyond expectations and coach them to improve every day
Set clear goals, targets and metrics to drive revenue performance and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, continuous learning and collaboration.
Hold regular Business Health Reviews (BHR) with Regional Directors to measure performance, strategically plan, guide next steps, and hold the team accountable by reviewing what is expected prior to BHR
Host Monthly Business Reviews with CRO to share progress against the strategic plan
Maintain an accurate, clean, and current sale pipeline, ensuring that sales processes are efficient and effective
Help to close business by co-leading sales presentations and/or attending meetings with decision makers; support your team by traveling to attend webinars, tradeshows and other lead generation opportunities that foster awareness and product adoption
Foster partnerships with strategic educational organizations
Attend all leadership meetings and collaborate on best practices
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in K-12 education
5+ years of field sales experience
3+ years of teaching experience is preferred, but not required
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM
Proven track record of leading sales teams to consistently over-achieve goals and exceed revenue expectations
Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; create a team atmosphere with staff at all levels
Strong problem-solver with demonstrated ability to strategize, develop, and communicate a multitude of ideas when considering a challenge
Passion and dedication to the company’s mission and purpose
Self-starter with the ability to execute and implement large-scale change
