Role Overview: Vice President, Medical Education

Medical Education Strategy

• Develop and implement comprehensive Medical Education strategies to address educational needs and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to align educational initiatives with product commercialization strategies.
• Plan and manage a variety of educational events such as cadaveric labs, webinars, and trade shows.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams for cohesive Medical Education planning.
  
  

Content Development And Program Execution

• Partner with Healthcare Professionals to establish goals and strategies for educational programs.
• Oversee site selection, faculty engagement, and logistical planning for educational events.
• Evaluate and enhance Medical Education programs for continuous improvement.
• Define metrics for evaluating surgeon education effectiveness and implement reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all educational activities.
  
  

Leadership

• Provide mentorship and leadership to the Medical Education team to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Lead regional clinical education efforts and offer support to customers as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to enhance educational strategies.
• Foster strategic relationships across executive and field-based stakeholders to drive Medical Education excellence.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in medical education, medical affairs, and/or marketing, with a focus on Medical Education in the medical device industry.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a Medical Education function.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory environments, particularly in the medical device industry.
• Relocation to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and moderate travel (20-35%) required.
