Vice President of Licensing

We are partnered with a rapidly growing private equity backed health insurance company. The team has grown dramatically since starting in 2021. The team has an inspiring mission to ensure healthcare is within reach for as many Americans as possible.

We are looking to bring on a Vice President of Licensing to support the sales and customer support agents. You will have the opportunity to oversee a team of 20 who span internal teams and downlines. A strong candidate will have proven experience with Health Insurance licensing and leading a team.

Requirements

• Must be on-site in Sunrise, Florida
• 3+ years in licensing and contracting within health insurance required
• Proven team leadership of 10+ team members is required
• Demonstrated expertise in system and process development required
• A history of supporting multiple business units is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee licensing for all eligible agents
• Stay current on state-specific contracting requirements
• Supporting licensing managers and utilizing performance management strategies
• Ensure compliance across the organization and work to resolve escalations
• Partner with carriers to expedite contracting and licensing processes
