Executive Director/Vice President, Clinical Development

Our close client partner is looking for an experienced leader to join their team and support the clinical stage activities for their robust pipeline. The company has a multitude of wholly owned (4) and partnered programs (6) that are either in the clinic or under IND consideration. This success has stemmed from their multiple $9-figure partnerships and milestone achievements. With multiple Nobel Prize laureates on their SAB, they are well poised to change Inflammation & Immunology therapy as we know it.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Clinical Development planning and strategy within Immunology & Inflammation
• Lead and own early stage PH1/2 clinical trial design for novel immune engagers
• Plan and Direct all clinical aspects related to assigned programs
• Contribute to regulatory filings including authorship of INDs, IBs and NDAs
• Act as company representative for critical meetings with regulatory agencies and KOLs

Qualifications:

• MD with 7-10 years of successful track record in biotech or pharma in Medical Director roles focused within immunology and inflammation
• Significant drug development experience in direct involvement in driving clinical POC in the US or EU
• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory and compliant requirements governing clinical trials
• Must be willing to be on-site in Greater Boston 3-4 days a week
