We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Leader of Account Management. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and overall success of our client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of account management principles, GPO business practices, healthcare and hospital operation knowledge, and a proven track record of driving client satisfaction and revenue growth. Duties And Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive account management strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the account management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client-centricity. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Act as the main point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure prompt and effective resolution. Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and challenges, and proactively identify opportunities for value-added services. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing account management team. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages creativity and excellence. Revenue Growth: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Develop and implement strategies to maximize client retention and increase revenue from existing clients. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to assess the health of client accounts, identify trends, and make informed strategic decisions. Prepare regular reports for executive leadership on key performance indicators, client satisfaction, and revenue growth. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance account management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in account management to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities GPO Operations Healthcare Supply Chain Operations Negotiation Executive level presence and communication Collaborative High Energy Strategic thinker Customer Service oriented Innovative Work Experience, Education, And Certifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Proven experience in account management, with a track record of success in a leadership role. Strong understanding of the industry and market trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
