SUMMARY:

Responsible for greeting guests and entering and updating guest vehicle information in the database according to established policies and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Greets arriving guests outside under the Porte Cochere.
  • Directs traffic under and around the Porte Cochere.
  • Enters and updates guest information in the database.
  • Assists guests promptly and courteously during valet check-in and check-out.
  • Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.
  • Communicating Valet operation and Shuttle information to the supervisors and team

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Special Qualifications

Must possess excellent communication and organization skills. Must be proficient in typing. Must be computer literate.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.

The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions for long periods of time.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky.
