Urgent Care Physician

A hospital in the fabulous Las Vegas area is in search of a new Urgent Care Physician for one of their award winning clinics.

In addition, this hospital system is accredited in all areas, especially their outpatient clinics, providing outstanding care and earning The Joint Commission’s gold star approval. With a busy and productive clinic, the Urgent Care Physician will join an organization with an amazing culture, and reputation in the community.

The Urgent Care Physician will report directly to the Medical Director for the hospital clinics. Supported by clinical supervisors and administrators as well as a large team of nurses and other Medical Doctors, this person will play a key role in the ambulatory clinic of the hospital.

The Urgent Care Physician will play the crucial role of providing medical care to the adult and pediatric populations. They will also be responsible for referrals as well as administrative duties and act as a liaison between the hospital and community. The ideal Urgent Care Physician candidate will have their State of Nevada License to Practice Medicine as well as their Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate. This role is truly one of the most important roles in the hospital system, so the ideal candidate will be well versed in providing outstanding patient care, developing policies to promote quality, and leadership.

The Las Vegas area is known for its lively energy and so much more than just “The Strip”. This area is also home of the Grand Canyon, with hiking trails and recreational areas if the Urgent Care Physician is someone who loves nature and the outdoors. Las Vegas claims world class restaurants and amazing shopping in addition to its nightlife. The climate is warm with almost guaranteed sunshine, and mild cool winters. Las Vegas is home for University of Nevada Las Vegas and living in the surrounding suburb areas provides a peaceful escape in a desert oasis.
