UI Developer _Remote _ 1 year

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an UI Developer for a client in the higher ed. industry.

Position: UI Developer (Up to 40 hours a week)

Location: Remote

Duration: This is a long term role at least one year in duration.

The experienced UI Developer should have extensive experience with Modern Campus Omni CMS and a strong background in building and optimizing large, complex college or university websites. This role involves configuring and optimizing Omni CMS performance, integrating various systems, and ensuring compliance with WCAG AA standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure college/university websites using Modern Campus Omni CMS
• Optimize site performance and ensure the scalability of large, complex sites
• Integrate Modern Campus Omni CMS with other systems such as Learning Management Systems, Marketing Systems, Registration Systems, Siteimprove, and other site metrics systems
• Ensure all coding and testing complies with WCAG AA standards for accessibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMS configuration, integration, and performance
• Collaborate with design, content, and development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Conduct regular performance audits and implement improvements to enhance site speed and user experience
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Modern Campus Omni CMS
• Extensive experience in building and optimizing large, complex college or university websites
• Strong understanding of CMS configuration and performance optimization
• Experience integrating Modern Campus Omni CMS with various systems such as Learning Management Systems, Marketing Systems, Registration Systems, SiteImprove, and other site metrics systems
• Familiarity with testing and coding to comply with WCAG AA standards
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
