We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cheerleading and Tumbling Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cheerleading and tumbling and will be responsible for coaching and training athletes in both disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for cheerleading and tumbling athletes
- Teach proper techniques for stunts, jumps, tumbling, and routines
- Provide guidance and support to athletes during practices and competitions
- Create choreography for routines and performances
- Conduct tryouts and evaluate athletes to determine team placements
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and successful program
- Communicate with athletes, parents, and staff about upcoming events, practices, and competitions
- Maintain a safe and positive training environment for all athletes
- Attend competitions and events to support and cheer on athletes
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience in cheerleading and tumbling
- Knowledge of cheerleading and tumbling techniques and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well with athletes of all ages and skill levels
- Positive attitude and passion for coaching
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
