Transactions Counsel

We are working with a top independent solar + storage IPP with over 2GW of solar projects operating across 20+ states and an robust customer portfolio to grow their accomplished legal team. This opportunity joins a strong commercial department and will support a variety of contract negotiations with exposure to all areas of the business.

You'll have the opportunity to lead all phases of a variety of renewable energy transactions from start to finish, supported by other staff and external legal resources. Candidates for this role should have experience partnering with finance, procurement, and related teams to structure commercial transactions.

Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in an established law practice and/or in house supporting commercial activities. Prior experience with procurement contracts highly preferred. Qualified applicants should also have:

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar license in at least 1 US state
• Wide variety of contract format knowledge, prior transactional experience in renewable energy is preferred but not required
• Player/coach mindset, comfortable working with both senior and junior team members
