The Local Sales Enablement team at Yelp is growing and we’d love to have someone like you! We are looking for a Sales Enablement Trainer who is passionate about providing Yelp new hires with a 5-star first impression through thoughtful training programming and excellent facilitation.

The Sales Enablement Trainer will be responsible for presenting and facilitating training content to monthly new hire classes, while creating an environment that makes learning fun and engaging. They will be tasked with teaching the Yelp product, sales process, and systems knowledge to monthly new hire classes within the Local Sales organization.

The ideal candidate has sales training and/or sales enablement experience, excellent verbal and written skills, and a collaborative approach. They are passionate about the learner experience and have experience keeping pace with an ever evolving business by keeping curriculum updated and current for each incoming new hire class.

What You'll Do

  • Present onboarding material while creating a supportive and welcoming environment to our newest employees
  • Make learning fun, engaging, challenging, and competitive while facilitating sales training sessions to monthly new hire classes
  • Leverage a variety of delivery methods including: virtual facilitation, social learning, gamification, demonstration, role-plays, e-learning, etc.
  • Assist in content creation by reviewing and providing edits to training materials as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks and play a support role for ongoing programs. Tasks include building, distributing and administering calendars, toolkits, sign-ups and supporting in-session production
  • Prepare and support training related communications. Escalate inbound questions and requests and facilitate conversations with support

What It Takes To Succeed

  • 2+ years of instructor led sales enablement or training experience
  • Strong working knowledge of digital advertising
  • Engaging presenter and confident public speaker virtually
  • Strong technical skills to support remote facilitation and learning (Google Meet, Zoom)
  • Arrives prepared for each training session and works around challenges with limited disruption
  • Expert content facilitator (pace, tone, body language, time awareness, engagement) and creates an inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Completes tasks and projects within deadlines
  • Maintains processes, with guidance, for collaboration with internal stakeholders within the Training and Enablement team for projects to ensure a healthy feedback loop
