Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a Territory Sales Manager You Will

Maximize Haworth's share of wallet with existing, new, and target (competitively-held) accounts by partnering with our dealer customers in the Charlotte market to focus clients towards Haworth solutions.

Emphasize The Following Key Areas On a Daily Basis

  • Networking and Prospecting
  • Sales and Business Development
  • Customer/Dealer Relationship development
  • Brand Ambassadorship

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications or other closely related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • 3 years of solution based selling experience within commercial interiors, contract furniture systems, commercial real estate, and/or architectural workplace solutions.
  • Experience building a network of business relationships to create sales opportunities.
  • Ability to travel daily away from home offices up to 70% of time in assigned market, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in the Charlotte, NC market without relocation assistance.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key influencers in the Charlotte market.
  • Experience working in the office furniture industry.
  • Experience managing territory, including client, influencer, and dealer relationships.
  • Quota retirement responsibilities.
  • Experience working with CRM.

Ideally, You Have Also Demonstrated The Following

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen skills and ability to make decisions that are best for business.
  • Proven ability to plan events and coordinate customer visits, including scheduling meetings and arranging catering requirements.
  • Strong technical skills to create and deliver influential client presentations. PC and keyboard/mouse skills required; technically proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications (i.e., Microsoft Office) and internet, with ability to learn and utilize Haworth systems as required.
