Our client, a luxury timepiece brand, is hiring a Temporary Store Planning Project Manager for their team in Miami on a hybrid schedule. This will be an ongoing assignment for at least the next 6 – 8 months with the potential to extend depending on completion timeline. Candidates will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 work from home.
Responsibilities:
Apply understanding of the concept design development process and manage initial concepts through completion
Propose new ideas, materials, details, and fixtures to support the growth of the brand
Obtain approvals from landlord for preliminary and working drawing reviews
Apply understanding of millwork details, fixtures, hardware, and materials and their impact on merchandising and customer use
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Deliver work within schedule and budget
Identify and proposes solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity
Prepare reports to keep track of the status of various projects and condition of boutiques in the local territory
Ensure the store execution aligns with the brand’s standards and requirements
Responsibilities:
B.A or Masters in Architecture highly preferred
5+ years of project management experience working in high luxury Fashion, Jewelry & Hospitality or equivalent
In-house experience in retail brands preferred
Proficient in architecture software (Autocad) and MS Project
Experience working with international vendors
Ability to find technical solutions with respect of tight deadlines
Displays strong written, verbal, negotiation and visual communication skills along with being detail oriented
Independent, strong planning and management skills with excellent problem solving skills
Ability to travel domestically (30%-40% of the time)
Salary: $50-$65/hr
