About the Role:
Job Title: Technical Writer.
Job Description:
The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
Responsibilities:
• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Must Haves:
o 1. Experience with technical writing (NOT specs, needs someone who is comfortable with user-focused technical writing) (5+ YOE)
o 2. Experience with assimilation information of technical writing from a spec to create artifacts (5+ YOE)
o 3. Experience developing video artifacts (5+ YOE)
Location: Remote
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $75,000- $85,000 Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
