Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tech Lead in Cincinnati, OH. Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic team, overseeing the development and technical architecture of our cutting-edge applications. Responsibilities:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tech Lead in Cincinnati, OH. Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic team, overseeing the development and technical architecture of our cutting-edge applications. Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership to a team of software engineers; Lead by example in developing scalable and efficient applications using Next.js and other specified technologies
- Architecture and Design: Collaborate closely with product managers and architects in translating business requirements into technical designs; Represent software engineering in discovery and design sessions, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Code Quality and Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance; Mentor team members in best practices for software development, ensuring adherence to coding standards and guidelines
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the development team; Implement best practices for DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC), leveraging AKS for Kubernetes-based deployments
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative team environment through open communication and knowledge sharing; Act as a point of contact for technical queries and provide hands-on support as needed
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement; Utilize Azure Cognitive Search for efficient data retrieval and enhance overall application search capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Kubernetes Administrator) a plus
- Proven experience in a Tech Lead or similar role, with a focus on web application development using Next.js, React, or similar frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Cognitive Search for implementing scalable search solutions
- Strong background in backend technologies such as Node.js and experience with server-side rendering
- In-depth knowledge of SSO solutions, including integration using KAP web adapter or similar technologies
- Expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment to AKS or other Kubernetes platforms
- Proficiency in utilizing Databricks for data processing and analysis, with a strong understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and mentor junior engineers
