About The Role
Join our Real Estate group as a Tax Partner and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic tax guidance and solutions to our esteemed clients within the real estate sector. You will lead and manage tax engagements, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of our tax practice.
Responsibilities
Provide expert tax advice to a diverse clientele in the real estate industry, including developers, investors, and property management firms.
Analyze and interpret complex tax regulations affecting real estate transactions and operations.
Develop and execute tax strategies that optimize clients' financial positions and align with their business objectives.
Lead and oversee tax engagements related to real estate, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Review complex tax returns for compliance with applicable regulations.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's expertise in real estate taxation.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions and contribute to business development initiatives.
Contribute to marketing strategies aimed at promoting our real estate tax practice.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA required.
Experience
12+ years of experience in real estate tax, with a proven track record in tax planning and compliance.
Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws relevant to the real estate sector.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, with a knack for inspiring and guiding teams.
Business development experience, including successful client acquisition and retention.

Compensation
Competitive annual salary ranging from $220,000 to $500,000+, commensurate with experience.
