We are looking for a dynamic Tax Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing and streamlining the precise preparation of our company's tax returns. As the Tax Manager, you will ensure complete adherence to local, national, and international tax regulations by implementing a range of robust systems and controls. Your primary responsibilities will also include assisting with various compliance tasks, including insurance and business filings.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with tax firm to deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns across multiple entities
Coordinate nexus review and provide recommendations based on findings
Identify and mitigate tax risks
Assist with managing insurance compliance and renewals
Coordinate with accounting staff to provide reporting requirements
Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
Manage and coordinate tax audits
Maintain tax balances on general ledger
Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests
Manage financial statement and tax audits
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting required
Proven work experience as a Tax Manager
Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax returns
Strong analytic abilities and problem-solving skills
M&A experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Travel requirement - 20%
NetSuite experience preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred
