The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for open positions in the ATS. This person must understand, model, and represent PumpMan. Will be a part of identifying opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing process.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Place and update all job postings in the ATS
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g social media platforms and professional networks)
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process: source qualified candidates, review applications, create interview plans, and recommend candidates, while moving the interview process forward in an engaging and timely manner.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote the company referral program.
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization.
  • Work on special projects at the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting, including strong LinkedIn experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and hiring managers.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in industrial distribution or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in HR software and recruitment tools.
  • Experience in employer branding and promoting the company's image as an employer of choice.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
