Talent Acquisition Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Partner with the internal recruiting team in managing full-cycle recruiting and staffing needs.

· Interface with candidates and hiring managers to schedule preliminary phone screens and interviews.

· Maintain communication with candidates throughout recruiting and onboarding process.

· Assist in monitoring and identifying top-tier talent on internal and external job boards.

· Prepare and send onboarding documentation, such as offer letters, business protection agreements, and state badging instructions.

· Prepare and submit state badging documentation to the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

· Foster long-term relationships with candidates, internal hiring managers, and other contacts.

· Stay up to date on industry news and trends.

· Document and report recruiting metrics.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· 1+ years of recruiting and/or administrative assistant experience preferred.

· Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience required.

· Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States and must be 21 years of age or older.

· Must be able to pass a background check.

· Professionally proficient or fluent in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience is a plus.

· Experience with Greenhouse and/or SAP preferred.
