Job Description
Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst 1
Location: Manassas, VA
Duration: 12 months

As a Front-End Supply Manager, you will work with a team of Supply Managers responsible for maintaining Micron’s inventory of spare parts. You will work in a fast-paced environment with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve inventory supply shortages and identify root-cause to prevent future shortages.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and adjust local inventory to effectively support manufacturing and minimize waste. This includes safety stock (SS), reorder point (ROP) and lead time maintenance as well as part/material obsolescence management.
Respond to inventory stock-out issues and resolve root cause.
Manage inventory scheduling and delivery and make order adjustments with suppliers as necessary due to scheduling or availability changes.
Expedite and advance delivery issues as required to ensure continuity of supply.
Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and positively representing Procurement.
Ensure stakeholder requirements are met and sustain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide input to leadership on the building and implementing of department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation on teams and projects.
Conduct Zero Bin Analysis and address common causes related to identify zero bin crisis items.
Flexibility to assist other supply managers and provide coverage when needed.
Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Problem solving and project management skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Able to work independently or with a cross functional team.
Customer service acumen.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree in the following disciplines: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study.
CPIM Certification
Knowledge of SAP for Materials Management and MRP.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with Tableau
