Supply Chain Analyst, Aerospace

Pay Range: $60,000 - $110,000

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. This position is responsible for leveraging data analytics, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using database query tools to extract, analyze and present information through dashboards, and possess exceptional problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills. Additionally, a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and APICS certifications (CSCP or CPIM) would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Epicor ERP system to extract and analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain BAQs (Business Activity Queries) to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Design and implement supply chain dashboards and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues impacting supply chain performance and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Production, Purchasing, and Finance, to optimize inventory management, production planning, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in supply chain management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline that emphasizes analytics such as supply chain, industrial engineering, statistics, etc.
  • Developing queries, performing data analysis, and converting into informative insights required.
  • Experience creating dashboards and SPC (statistical process control) charts desired.
  • Exposure to or experience with production planning using systems as Epicor, SAP, MAPICS or the equivalent.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as a member of cross-functional team.
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or APICS (CSCP or CPIM) are highly desirable.
