Superintendent

About the Client I am currently representing a specialist General Contractor and Construction Management specialist based in New York, specialising in Ground Up, Refurbishment and Renovation projects across the Tr-State and Mid Atlantic area. Due to recent project awards they are currently looking for a Superintendent to manage projects on Long Island and the Buroughs. About the Role Oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites. Ensure work adheres to project plans and specifications. Direct and coordinate work of subcontractors and on-site personnel. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment. Monitor and enforce project schedules. Identify and address potential delays promptly. Implement and enforce quality control measures. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Coordinate delivery and use of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records. Address on-site issues promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with project manager to find solutions. Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients and inspectors. Provide regular updates on project progress. Maintain accurate records of on-site activities. Prepare and submit daily reports as required. Proactively identify challenges and propose solutions. Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth project flow. About the Candidate Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent. Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage on-site teams effectively.
