Position Purpose

The Studio Specialist, Creative/Video Post-Production role is responsible for creative development and editing of motion graphics and video assets, making final content available for the organization. The role includes working with various studio and production teams to support marketing and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate would be experienced in all aspects of video post-production, including editing, audio mixing and enhancement, color grading, and file formatting for final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • 30% - Drives Results - Drive excellence, best practices, and consistent execution of project work; improve quality by studying, evaluating, and improving methods used.
  • 70% - Strategy - Guides the company's creative strategy by managing the development and production of creative content. Uses discretion, independent judgment, and creativity to make key decisions to successfully deliver assets for multiple cross-channel projects. Responsible for utilizing acquired experience and creative expertise, to elevate the brand, overcome challenges, and ensure delivered assets meet the marketing objective scope of work.

Travel Requirements

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements

  • Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

Working Conditions

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with creative development, video editing and post-production
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe CC with a focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience with audio editing applications like Adobe Audition
  • Experience with color grading techniques and applications, experience with DaVinci Resolve highly preferred
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in file management and ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
  • Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail and insistence on quality
  • Ability to quickly and proactively learn new skills and software
  • Highly collaborative, open and transparent
  • Calmness under pressure, with the ability to excel and thrive in a high-volume environment
  • Proactive problem-solving, both technically and creatively

Minimum Education

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Preferred Education

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
