Studio Services Audio Visual Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains and develops studio and location production equipment and processes to meet the needs for the development of BJU Press products and services.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains/develops studio and location video/audio production systems
  • Oversees and manages all studio video/audio production equipment (cameras, switchers, etc.)
  • Stays current on new and innovative products/software/services in the audio and video recording industry
  • Coordinate with managers/supervisors and recommends optimal recording environment
  • Assists with special projects and strategic planning

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in film production, television, video editing, or broadcasting
  • Extensive experience with recording, audio, and studio time is optimal
  • Microsoft Office, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Avid Media Composer, Avid Pro Tools
  • Exposure/use of other audio and video editing software is helpful
