What You'll Do
Viasat is a leading global communications company that empowers people, businesses, and governments to stay connected, informed, and protected. We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Lead who will support the Chief of Staff to the President of Viasat in driving company-wide strategic initiatives and operational improvements. This role will be responsible for supporting the President’s operational activities and priorities, working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to drive the company-wide initiatives forward, and optimizing business processes to improve organizational efficiency.
The day-to-day
Work closely with both the Chief of Staff and President to develop and execute the company's operational and strategic plan, ensuring alignment with Viasat's overall business objectives and growth strategy.
Supervise day-to-day responsibilities for projects and tasks ensuring business plans are executed within budget and given deadlines, partnering with Chiefs of Staff and cross-functional leads across the business
Continually plan and optimize the President Office corporate calendar to ensure the President’s priorities and planned commitments are accurately reflected and supported
Prepare presentations, briefings, and reports for the President, C-Suite, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
Lead the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic plans, including market analysis, competitor assessments, and operational improvements.
Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize business processes, and drive operational efficiency.
Support competitive landscape intelligence, maintain and share expertise and critical analyses relating to market evolution and competitive threats across all markets
Define, track, and develop narratives around key business metrics tied to our financial and operational commitments, while managing progress against our annual commercial plan’s strategic priorities & initiatives
Support the President in managing relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and partners.
Manage and develop cross-functional teams of high-performing strategy and operations professionals.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience with MBA (or 5+ without MBA) in strategy and operations, investment banking, management consulting, or related field.
Experience in the telecommunications, technology, or aerospace industries preferred.

Salary range
$124,800.00 - $216,900.00 / annually

Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
