Strategic Sourcing Specialist- Dairy

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is a vital member of the North American Strategic Procurement team.

As a specialist, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing purchasing strategies.

These strategies will deliver optimal results in areas such as people, processes, and costs for industrial categories in the short and medium term.

You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and ensure that the overall focus is aligned with established budget objectives, policies, and guidelines. You will be working under the direction of the Senior Procurement Manager, Indirect, North America.

For this position, we are looking for an adaptive, dynamic leader with a proven track record of service excellence, continuous improvement, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the North American supply chain market with key successes. As the manager of complex procurement projects in a multi-site, multi-division, and multi-country (USA and Canada) environment, you will oversee a rapidly growing network across cost, service, efficiency, agility, and quality pillars to achieve long-term cross-functional business plan objectives. This role is based in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in a procurement function in related field category, preferably at a food company. University degree or equivalent work experience.
