To stock and maintain all food and beverage and non-food items stored in the Food and Beverage Storeroom; fill requisitions for all food and beverage outlets within The Golden Nugget.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Pull requisitions, fill orders for all departments within the hotel from a worksheet.
Follow (FIFO) First In First Out standards.
Unload trucks coming into warehouse; check items and stock them in their proper location.
Drive to hotel and unload orders; pick up items from the hotel to be brought back and stored at the warehouse.
Rearrange stock in new and old locations and change in computer, if needed.
Take temperature readings of all storeroom refrigeration and freezers, report any malfunctions to supervisor.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested and assist as needed at offsite Main Street Warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS / Education &/or Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
One year minimum prior experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving;
Must possess valid Nevada driver's license for operation of trucks;
Must have experience working with Computer and its applications.
Minimum age requirement is 18.
Mathematical Skills
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to; add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Language Skills
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Frequently operate and maintain forklift, hand jack and manlift, and lift various size boxes and weights from 65-150 lbs. and move them distances of from 10 feet to 50 feet.
Knowledge in the operation of 2 and 4 wheel carts and power pallet jack.
Occasional use of computer
Constant bending/stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying from 65-150 lbs. when rearranging stock or lifting it from carts to storage location, and eye/hand coordination.
Frequent use of feet for pedals on trucks and forklift.
