Orion Solutions Group is working with a National 3PL, warehouse solutions and logistics provider, in search of a dynamic growth leader in the warehouse/distribution logistics sales space. As the Sr Sales Director, you'll spearhead revenue growth, specializing in warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added services. Shape the future of logistics by developing key customer relationships, seizing new opportunities, and negotiating impactful contracts. Your expertise will craft tailored solutions for efficient transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management, ensuring the organization stands out in the competitive logistics market.

- Drive new business development within the thriving logistics sector. Prospecting, lead generation, and development on long term clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to surpass revenue targets.
- Utilize your logistics expertise to provide customized solutions related to transportation, warehousing, and supply chain client requirements.
- Engage in negotiations securing profitable and sustainable agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service execution.
- Utilize your industry knowledge to stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to continuously improve services and participate in organizational development/customer education.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in logistics sales, specifically selling complex full supply chain solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain, transportation, and warehousing, including contract negotiations and pricing agreements.
- Strong negotiation skills and market trend awareness.
- Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and various industry-specific software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong team collaborator.
- Ability to analyze complex logistics challenges and provide innovative and practical solutions.
