Sr QA Automation Engineer (Seffner, FL)

Position: Sr QA Automation Engineer
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Technical Skills Needed:

Must Haves

• At least 4-7 years experience in field of automation of Web applications using structured testing methods
• At least 3-5 years of experience with Automation tool - Selenium
• Expertise with one or more programming languages (Preferably Java/ JavaScript)
• Experience with Designing test automation framework (Good understanding of Tools Architecture and should have established Framework in their previous job/(s)).
• Experience with test data automation
• Experience with any one test management tool (Preferably Devops/Jira)
• Should have good understanding of Testing Process
• Good Analytical, problem-solving skills

Good to have

• Good to have exposure to different testing frameworks(practical experience implementing these)
• Experience with basic data base operations (Preferably SQL)
• Mobile Automation experience
• Experience with webservices automation

Soft Skills:

• Persistence
• Should be able to learn quickly
• Flexibility in terms of schedules, changing requirements & priorities

Roles and responsibilities:

• Update Framework(as Needed)
• Update and develop new automation libraries
• Automate regression, Smoke tests and other repeatable tests
• Document/ report bugs
