The duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Formulations Scientist will include:
- Lead the formulation development efforts of new agricultural products, including biological and chemical active ingredients such as micro-organisms, proteins, peptides, plant extracts, viruses, natural derived or synthetic chemicals
- Collaborate with our clients to ensure alignment between formulation development, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives
- Design and optimize formulation compositions to improve product performance, stability, and efficacy
- Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of formulations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in agricultural formulations and actively contribute to innovative ideas and new approaches
- Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safe and efficient laboratory practices
- Record and document all experimental information and organize, analyze, summarize, and report the final results
- Communicate effectively with other team members and our clients. Present experimental results and progress in group discussions and project updates
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed

Technical Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural formulation development, preferably in a research or industrial setting
- Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing innovative agricultural products
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines governing agricultural formulations
- Fast learner with strong curiosity and passion in biological and chemical formulations and hands-on experimentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take risks
- Enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a small start-up company
