Sr. Director-Community & Family Services

CGRC’s Community & Family Services is comprised of Family Based, IBHS, and ABA services. The Community & Family Services Senior Director administrative and clinical leadership to the Community & Family Services employees, teams, and programs. The position provides supervision and instruction relative to the programmatic and treatment services delivered by the programs. The Sr. Director ensures integration, coordination, and collaboration of Community & Family Services into the overall functioning of the organization.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Design, direct, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of Community & Family Services programs provided to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in developing and maintaining innovative and effective delivery of Community & Family Services programs.
  • Build plan for availability to intervene and provide immediate assistance in crisis situations.
  • Synthesize data from medical assistance bulletins and educate program employees regarding new managed care and medical assistance material.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a system of coordinated access to services required by Community & Family Services programs’ clients.
  • Perform multi-system advocacy to ensure clients' and families' rights and their access to appropriate community services/resources during treatment and upon discharge, as necessary.
  • Develop program budgets for all assigned services, ensuring that the program budgets are cost effective and accurate.
  • Review monthly goals and financial reports to determine progress and status in attaining goals and objectives. Develop and monitor action plans as necessary to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Represent and promote the organization with funding sources professional membership groups, regulatory/accreditation organizations, referral sources, and consumers.
  • Create, plan, and oversee appropriate expansion of Community & Family Services programs as needed and development of related clinical services.
  • Alert to potential employee issues and problems and address these in a timely and thoughtful manner with a focus upon positive outcomes.
  • Promote a continuous performance improvement work ethic throughout the department.
  • Develop and maintain a system of clinical reviews, corporate compliance reviews, and chart reviews for all Community & Family Services programs’ clients.
  • Participate in organization compliance initiatives to ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial, and accreditation standards, e.g., authorization practices, corporate compliance procedures, charting requirements, state licensure, and JCAHO accreditation.
