We're looking for a Senior Buying Assistant, Spirits to join our Merchandising department in Bethesda, MD. You will oversee item maintenance and setup, compliance workflow, pricing, assortment, merchandising and promotion management. You will create tracking sheets, compile and complete analysis, and support deadlines and projects. You will manage set-up and maintenance of all spirits sourced items. You will also build relationships with all partners, especially Supply Chain. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to delve deep into the world of Spirits buying. You will report to the Spirits Buyer.

You will
Assist Spirits Buyer and Spirits Sourcing Team with several long-term projects and managing deadlines and deliverables
Work with external (suppliers) and our teams to set up New Items in our assortment
Funnel new items through the compliance process
Ensure electronic files are kept current and maintained
Bring to closure outstanding issues with stores
Update agendas and prepare materials needed for meetings and conferences
Prepare and communicate weekly reports to our teams
Work with all partners on programs
You will come with
Bachelor's Degree
Manage projects within time constraints
Experience in retail buying or merchandising
Passion for the Spirits and Alcoholic Beverage industry and interest in learning more
