Special Education Teacher - Remote | WFH

Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students? We are currently seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team on a contract basis for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

About The Role

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include working with students in 7th-12th grades, both on-site and potentially remotely, for a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure student success

Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Education (required); Master's Degree in Special Education (preferred)

State certification in Special Education (preferred)

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Special Education

Proficiency in understanding and addressing various special education disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, and Emotional Disturbance
