Main tasks
IDENTIFY : Identify Out Of Production (OOP) parts from Change Request (CR) or Part Number (PN) list provided by the purchaser (stopped program or major modification).
ANALYSE : Analyse and assess OOP parts criticality (PN identified from WU 01-01 or PN list) by analysing and classifying the probability and impact for the in-service operations through a risk matrix. Investigate and challenge relevant criteria : part category, industrial process, spare, repair, interchangeability, MSN effectivity, consumption, stock, risk category, …
PROPOSE : Propose and substantiate (business case orientated) the most relevant solutions for OOP parts to the AIRBUS Industrial Control Board (ICB). Any relevant solution is possible : secure supply chain, design adaptation, repair, buffer stock, second hand market, interchangeability, reactive mode
SOLUTION DEPLOYEMENT & IMPLEMENTATION : Coordinate stakeholders to follow and track solution deployment and eventuality propose alternative solution in case of show stopper or blocking point (contract negotiation with suppliers, material issue, …)
Involvement will start with IDENTIFY and ANALYSE through training by the senior front team.
